Denims are always my go to when I think I have nothing to wear. At the same time, there is something extraordinary about pants. Earlier known as workwear and worn for strictly formal purposes, pants have come a long way to being the favorite of street style stars as well as celebrities. Being more versatile than denims, they are quickly growing on me. Combine this with flares and you’ve got a winner.

I work in fashion, but I know a lot of you work in a corporate set up. This requires you to wear formal pants and shirts. And it can be quite expensive to buy a separate wardrobe for the weekend, am I right? But all is not lost, as today I am going to talk about how you can dress down your beige pants for a casual weekend.

The best way to make any outfit casual is to wear sneakers. Statement sneakers like I wore are even more effective. It also is a subtle way to inject some color, especially if it is a monochromatic look like this ( or this). A tonal knit is what makes this look great( looks like a jumpsuit no?). If you have matching accessories like my shades, then I think you win at this game called life!

Pro Tip: If you are ‘height deficient’, then this TWO IN ONE tip is for you! Firstly, flared and high waisted pants will always make you look slimmer and make you look more hourglass shaped. Second of all, wearing one color from top to bottom will elongate your body and make you look taller. Follow these tips and see the difference yourself.
