India is a colorful country and Indians are colorful people. Those are good things. Indians also dress dress quite, ummm, colorfully. That’s a good thing too…..but more often than not, things tend to go overboard. It is actually quite a task to wear a color block or color dominant outfit. I usually stick to neutrals to balance out a colorful look with 3 colors max.
So why this look? Why a color riot, you ask? Well, anytime someone has asked me what is my favorite color, I always say – I LOVE ALL OF THEM! #truestory I can’t choose one, hence this post is dedicated to all the colors & color lovers out there! Hmmm….Seems like I’m forgetting something….Oh yeah! It’s also to show how you can wear a REALLY colorful outfit!
So basically, this started out by me deciding to clean my closet. In the process, I found so many clothes that I had bought with so much excitement but had NEVER worn! After realizing that even though I claim to love all shades & hues, I rarely incorporate them in my daily outfits, I collected all these brand new, never worn before colorful pieces and started putting a look together.
This rust midi skirt was perfect to begin with , added a chartreuse knitted top and went on to tie a bright blue scarf around my neck. My sling back perfectly complimented the colors I was wearing. Just because there wasn’t enough color here, I added pink mules to the mix.
To sum it up, I am wearing bold rust, green, blue, pink, yellow, white, cobalt & tan! See all the pictures below and tell me which is your favorite shade besides black & white! Do you dare to take the #colorriot challenge?

Love the way you have incorporated all the colors. Not everyone can carry it off. I love the pink Mules. Where are these from?
Thank you so much, Charuta! But knowing you, you’re more than capable of carrying it off! ? The mules were from a brand call Nell from Amazon ? I have added my Wooplr link where I’ve added something similar ?
