Most of you don’t know this, but I have been doing Lakme Fashion Week since early 2015. But in all those seasons I hardly attended shows and went looking like a trash can because I was working for a designer. More on that some other time….This season I attended LFW as a guest/blogger & experienced it in a whole new light.

I didn’t decide my outfits way in advance but obviously wanted to look my best. When people ask me to describe my style, I am often lost for words as I don’t think it fits one bracket. You will definitely see that below. So let’s get into the details! And you guys NEED to comment what you think my style is after going through all the looks!

DAY 1 – Retro Chic

Simply put – I fell in love with this polka dot top at Zara but it was only available in Medium but I got it anyway. I love blue & tan together so I paired it with a tan leather skirt. The vibe was extremely retro/vintage anyway so I just took it forward by adding a cute basket bag, leopard headband, gold hoops and a beautiful pendant. I wore these neutral boots because it was raining like a b**ch and I knew I’d be able to wipe them clean in case of any “accidents”.

Each of these items were “in” back in the day and fashion is cyclical. So store your cute pieces girlies, you never know what will be back in fashion again! I also met Kayaan & you can see that picture on my Instagram . It was an extremely special moment for me. 🙂

DAY 3 – Neon Is On

I was going to wear something else with this blazer. I had an epiphany of sorts at night and thought of wearing a neon hoodie inside it and style it this way! It is Autumn/Winter after all & I can sweat a little extra today just for Fashion Week’s sake, right? Rightttt? So I wore my vintage Burberry blazer over my old AF Adidas hoodie, belted at the waist & black boots with one of a kind metal mesh glasses. You like? 😀

Day 4 – Urban Street

This day I had another event, but managed to go for the Superdry party happening at LFW. I picked my most favourite piece from their new A/W collection – this mustard sweatshirt and decided to make it a colourful affair. Yellow + Red + Blue & socks that say “These Days Are Gold” with boots it was! I cropped the sweat by tucking in underneath and that was it! A primary colour based street style look, just like the invite stated 😉

DAY 5 – Not So Serious

When I received this Not So Serious By Pallavi Mohan dress, I knew I was going to wear it on the final day of fashion week. Because I wanted to wear it more casually, I wore an oversized denim jacket and only buttoned the collar to give it more of an A-line shape. It accentuated the flare the dress already has. I went with neutral boots and a tan bag with no accessories besides my watch. What do you think of this look?
